President for Ghana Registered Nurse and Midwives Association (GRNMA),Mrs.Perpetual Ofori Ampofo has hinted that,they will be embarking on nationwide strike from 9th june over their delayed implementation of agrees conditions of service for nurses and midwives in the country with the government.
Addressing a press Conference today, Mrs Perpetual Ofori Ampofo hinted that,they agreed on the service condition with the government on May 2024 but still not implemented as expected so they are taking the necessary steps against the government to demand it.
According to Mrs Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, nurses and midwives across the country will wear red bands from 2nd to 3rd june while on the 4th to 8th june, they will withdraw their OPD service as well as embarking on strike on 9th june,2025 until government address their problems.
