Hope Marie Academy has taken a bold step into its next chapter with a beautiful spirit-filled thanksgiving and logo unveiling ceremony held on wednesday, May 28th 2025. The event marks the beginning of activities leading up to the school’s much-anticipated 30th anniversary. The ceremony held at the school’s premises, was graced by Rev Father Henry Aholo, the parish priest of Prince Of Peace Catholic church. The Rev Father opened the ceremony with a powerful prayer, blessing the school, staff, schools and community. His words reflected hope, gratitude and the divine guidance that has brought the school this far. Fast Tv was present at the ceremony , conducting exclusive interviews and capturing key moments of the celebration.
Rev Father Henry Aholo, the Parish Priest of Prince Of Peace Catholic Church spoke to FAST TV, talking about the impact Hope Marie Academy has had on the community and the vision and mission of the school.
‘I have been associated with the Hope Marie Academy for the past five years and I have seen the impact the school has made in our community, training young minds, shaping visions and teaching them to know christ. The mission of the school is to train learners in the christian way and so christ is the pivotal centre of the formation of Hope Marie Academy’.
he added, ‘ we want to thank God for hoe far He has brought Hope Marie Academy for the past 30 years. The evidence of what Hope Marie Academy has done in the past 30years is shining for everyone to see, especially in our community, how the children are making impact and they doing exploit in the community, so we are grateful for the past 30 years and pray that God will continue to bless the vision of MRS MARIAN OTOO to do more for the community and for our nation Ghana’, he ended.
UNVEILING THE ANNIVERSARY LOGO
The highlight of the day was official unveiling of Hope Marie Academy’s anniversary logo, a modern emblem symbolizing the school’s values; faith, excellence, hope and growth. As the logo was revealed ,the audience erupted in applause.
FAST TV INTERVIEWS THE PTA CHAIRMAN OF HOPE MARIE ACADEMY.
In an interview with the PTA chairman of Hope Marie Academy, who is in the person of Apostle Dr. Frimpong Atta Blessing, the Senior Pastor of Glory House Chapel International, praised the school’s legacy and encouraged both teachers and students to continue pursuing excellence for God’s blessings.
“I am blessed to be here at the thanksgiving and logo unveiling ceremony towards the 30th anniversary of Hope Marie Academy. I have been with the school for about 20 years. My children completed this noble school and some have made it to America by God’s grace. My children and myself are blessed because of Hope Marie Academy. I want to tell the learners that, the school has a special covenant with God and whoever comes to the school sees the greatness of God that catapults them to fulfill their purpose on this earth, so I want to encourage the school, students and teachers to do all that they can for the purpose that God has about the school to come to pass and all will be blessed in jesus’ name”, he ended.
INTERVIEW WITH THE FOUNDER OF HOPE MARIE ACADEMY
The visionary behind Hope Marie Academy schools, Mrs Marian Otoo, shared an emotional story of how the school began and the many milestones achieved. In her interview with FAST TV, she said, “we are so grateful for today, in fact when we started the school, it was a very low beginning. The road was very poor for parents to bring their wards to the school because there was no car at that era; so the team that started the school decided to help students in Antie Aku, where the school is, by moving from one house to another, convincing parents with our intentions to bring their wards to Hope Marie Academy. God being so good the parents agreed and everything started from there.
Actually, Hope Marie Academy started on the 29th of May 1995, but the spiritual exercise that took place on the 28th May 1995 is what we always regard. This is because, we believe that was the day, God agreed that the school should take off. So basically, that is how Hope Marie Academy started.And we are much grateful for all that the Lord has done for us. I would like to tell everyone that, we all have something in us. None of us came to this without anything. It is up to you as a human being to recognize that thing. Whatever we want in life is not outside us, it is inside us. we should listen to our inner man. What we all see today, is as a result of listening to our inner man. My sincere gratitude to my family, both paternal and maternal for their amazing support, not forgetting my beloved husband, Mr. Otoo, who has been with me always. God bless you all”, she concluded with.
