President mahama at Tanzania
His Execellency John Dramani Mahama has made a historical appearance at Arushia in Tanzania for the opening of the 2026 judicial year of the African Court on Human And Peoples Right.
President John Dramani Mahama has warned of weakening judicial independence and rising executive interference worldwide.
At the 2026 Judicial Year opening and the 20th anniversary of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights in Arusha, he noted declining democratic institutions and growing restrictions on speech and protest, undermining public trust in governance.
